Beach area was infested with bees. My boyfriend and I couldn't even sit there. So we drove to start the lighthouse trail to hike but the parking lot was too full so they turned us away, but suggested other places to hike. We ended up hiking the white banks trail which was a very nice hike with scenic outlooks
Just beautiful. Could see the stars and moon bright and beautiful, shining on the water. Not to mention the sunset and the sunrise. Our group was in awe of the beauty of God 's creation
Very nice facilities at the campgrounds we stayed at! Great accommodations! Plus tons of fun things to do, Zip Lines, big swings, etc... lots of fun!
This is a great park with incredible views a top notch place to launch your boat. They have great trails and clean bathrooms.
Affordable cabins, lots to do. Had a great stay. Town nearby (but not too nearby) was easy to get to to grab those last minute items you always forget when packing. Campground was clean and quiet. Can't wait to go back! A bit disappointed we couldn't climb the lighthouse, but was not detrimental to the trip.
